The L-Type Gantry Crane features a box-shaped gantry structure and primarily consists of the gantry frame, crane crab, trolley traveling mechanism, cab, and electrical control system. The crane utilizes a single-girder design with an offset track and L-shaped legs, providing a large lifting space and strong spanning capability for efficient material transfer from the span area to beneath the jib.
The crab is equipped with a vertical reaction wheel for loads under 20t, and a horizontal reaction wheel for loads above 20t, ensuring stable travel along the girder side.
Operational Cab & Control
A closed, ergonomic cab is provided for operation, featuring an adjustable seat, insulated flooring, and toughened glass windows. Standard equipment includes a fire extinguisher and electric fan, with optional accessories such as air conditioning, acoustic alarms, and an intercom. The crane offers safe and flexible control via cabin, remote, or pendant line operation, with precise hook speed control for comprehensive work area coverage.
Design & Configuration
This model is a box-type single girder gantry crane, ideal for handling steel ladles, pipes, and other lengthy goods, with the L-shaped structure facilitating easy trolley travel and cargo turnover.
Single-girder gantry cranes are known for their simple construction, ease of manufacturing and installation, and low weight. Their main beams typically use an off-track box structure. While overall rigidity is less than double-girder cranes, they are suitable for capacities up to 50t and spans up to 35m. Leg options include L-type and C-type designs:
L-Type Legs: Offer easier manufacturing and installation, favorable force distribution, and lighter weight, though with slightly restricted space for goods to pass through.
C-Type Legs: Feature an inclined or curved design to provide greater lateral clearance for smooth cargo passage.
